PottyPing ("the app") is a potty-training reminder app for parents and caregivers. Your privacy — and your child's — matters to us. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with data.
PottyPing does not require an account, login, email, or phone number. We do not operate any backend servers. The app's core features work fully offline.
The following information is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us:
Deleting the app, or using Settings → Reset all app data, permanently removes this data.
The free version of the app shows a banner advertisement served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device information (such as advertising identifiers, IP address, and coarse location) to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob's data practices. The app requests non-personalized ads. Purchasing the "Remove Ads" subscription removes advertising entirely.
The optional "Remove Ads" subscription is processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment details. Purchase records are tied to your store account and managed by Apple/Google.
Reminder notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No push-notification servers are involved.
PottyPing is intended for use by parents and caregivers, not by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The optional child profile (name and avatar) never leaves the device.
If we update this policy, the new version will be posted at this page with a revised date.
